What is an Immigration Psychological Evaluation?
An immigration psychological evaluation is a comprehensive mental health assessment conducted by a licensed psychologist or therapist. This detailed report can serve as powerful evidence in your immigration case—demonstrating psychological symptoms, trauma history, and the impact of potential separation from your loved ones.

These evaluations are not therapy. This assessment is an independent service that supports your immigration case and is separate from any ongoing therapy or legal representation you may already have. They are conducted solely for the purpose of gathering information about your personal history, experiences, and the psychological impact you have endured or may endure in the future. We approach every evaluation with empathy and care and our goal is to create an objective report to assist your attorney in advocating for your case.

To document psychological impact from persecution, torture, or violence in your home country. -
Extreme Hardship Waivers Evaluations (I-601, I-601A)
To demonstrate how a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident spouse, parent, or child would suffer if you were removed or denied legal status. -
VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) Petitions Evaluations
To provide evidence of emotional and psychological harm resulting from domestic violence by a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident spouse or parent. -

What to Expect
When You Work With US
We know this process can feel vulnerable and stressful. From your first phone call, we aim to create a safe, compassionate space. Here’s what you can expect from your immigration psychological assessment in Atlanta:

Immigration Psychological Evaluation Fees
Immigration psychological evaluations are currently $1,000 per assessment. This fee includes:

Up to 3 hours of client interviews and assessment sessions

A thorough review of supporting documents

Preparation and delivery of your comprehensive psychological evaluation report, typically compelted within 3 weeks.
A $300 deposit is required on your first session, and the remaining balance must be paid before we can release the final copy of the report to you or your attorney. Accepted forms of payment include HSA, FSA, and credit cards.

For reports requiring expedited services, there is an additional fee of $300 to complete the entire process within 10 days.

We understand that this process can create financial stress. Flexible payment plans are available, and a limited number of sliding scale spots may be offered based on financial need. If cost is a concern, please let us know—we’re committed to making this service as accessible as possible.
