CBT focuses on changing a person’s  depressive thinking patterns  to improve their feelings and behaviors CBT can help people with depression by helping them identify and replace negative thought patterns with more realistic and positive ones.

Acceptance & Commitment
Therapy (ACT)

ACT engages a number of techniques to increase psychological/mental flexibility. The use of acceptance and mindfulness strategies help clients to be fully present in the moment and to accept otherwise negative emotions.  Commitment and behavior change strategies help clients to change or persist in behaviors more in line with their own values.
