Positionality: I identify as a South Asian Indian, cishet woman. I speak multiple languages (Hindi, English, Marathi, Konkani) and can converse in any of them in the therapy space based on you preference.

My Background & Approach:

Hi, I’m Manasvi Shenvi, an international doctoral student and an emerging clinical psychologist deeply committed to holding space for healing, self-discovery, and growth.

Reaching out for mental health support takes immense courage—especially in a world where stigma and systemic barriers still exist. If you’ve found your way here, even just to explore the possibility of therapy, I want to recognize the strength it takes to show up for yourself in this way. That strength inspires the work I do.

My approach to therapy is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for your full humanity. I strive to co-create a space that feels safe, affirming, and empowering—where all of your identities, lived experiences, challenges, and strengths are seen and honored. I believe that the relationship we build together is the heart of the therapeutic process, and I bring values of compassion, curiosity, cultural humility, anti-oppression, and transparency into every session.

Whether you're navigating personal struggles, systemic pressures, or just trying to make sense of your place in the world, I’m here to walk alongside you. Our work together will be collaborative, flexible, and always centered on what feels most meaningful and relevant to you.

Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and identities across various settings including --- community mental health, hospitals, helplines, and nonprofits. I welcome you—just as you are—as we explore what healing and growth look like for you.

Theoretical & Clinical Orientation:

My approach to therapy is rooted in multicultural, constructivist, and humanistic theories—each offering valuable perspectives on how we heal, grow, and relate. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities and tailor our work based on what aligns best with you—your identities, lived experiences, concerns, and goals.

At the heart of it all, I believe that therapy is most effective when it’s a collaborative, client-led process. You are the expert in your own life, and I’m here to help you tap into your own inner wisdom, strengths, and resilience. My role is to support you in navigating life’s challenges with tools, reflections, and care that meet you where you are.

I work from a biopsychosocial and multicultural lens—recognizing that our mental health is shaped by the complex interplay of our biology, identities, relationships, and the systems we live within. In our sessions, we’ll honor all those layers and explore ways to move through stressors holistically.

In sessions, besides providing a keen listening ear, I am actively engaged in sessions --offering constructive feedback, brainstorming, sharing resources and facilitating new perspectives. Think of me as your co-pilot: you're in the driver’s seat, and I’m here beside you—offering emotional support, practical tools, and steady encouragement as you chart your path forward.

Babbling nonsense, cooking, dancing, making art, spending time in nature, and napping—these are a few of my favorite things. I aspire to be a peacefully napping human burrito whenever possible. But water is where my soul sings loudest—whether beside it, beneath it, or floating weightless within.
